The Next Gen Helping the Gen That Came Before: Ravi Gulivindala’s Story

"The mission for my life is to to create a positive, lasting impact through real estate — honoring my father's legacy, providing for my loved ones, enriching my community, and inspiring future generations — by delivering expert guidance, heartfelt service, and a commitment to integrity, education, and growth."

A Story of Impact from KW Next Gen

Ravi Gulivindala is 27 years old, and a lot of the people he spends his days with are in their seventies and eighties.

That’s not an accident. Ravi is a realtor in the Philadelphia area, and he has made seniors one of his primary focuses — helping older clients navigate the decisions that come with right-sizing, estate planning, and figuring out what’s next. It’s patient, personal work. They want to share their stories, and he listens.

“I have three grandparents right now that are all healthy and active,” he says. “I believe in honoring your ancestors and helping those that maybe can’t help themselves as much.”

For someone his age, it’s an unusual direction. He’ll be the first to tell you that getting there required tearing down some walls inside his own head.

Ravi joined Keller Williams Bluebell in 2024, brand new to the industry. A month or two in, Quantum Leap was brought up at a team meeting — presented as an opportunity to get intentional, find some direction. He showed up not knowing quite what to expect, and found himself in a room that included Usha Patel, a KW Next Gen board member, along with the agents at his market center who could offer him real, personalized guidance.

It was the first time he’d ever sat down and seriously tried to answer the question: what’s my big why?

“I was never a realtor before, and I was never in Keller Williams before,” he says. “Being at QL — even though it’s not real estate specific in any way — it provides systems, models, and coaching.”

He dove into his mission statement. He built his first GPS. He learned what the 411 actually was — goals, priorities, and strategies broken down from a yearly level to a monthly level to a weekly one.

It gave him something he didn’t have before: a way to measure.

Before Quantum Leap, Ravi would set big goals and then let them expand to fill whatever time was available. Without parameters, without a deadline, without a way to track progress, things just… drifted.

“Sometimes if you give yourself all the time in the world, you don’t accomplish that goal,” he says.

The GPS and 411 changed that. In real estate, his lead generation strategy centers on what he does best — getting in front of people face to face, hosting open houses, building conversations into relationships. He tracks his contacts. He knows his numbers. He knows what he can control.

The result: “I’m accomplishing more now in less time than I thought was possible.”

There was a belief he had to tear down first, though.

Ravi wanted to work with seniors. But a quiet voice kept telling him: you’re too young, you don’t have enough experience, you don’t belong in that room.

At QL Summit in Austin, Gary Keller talked about fear — the difference between rational fear and irrational fear. A lot of what holds us back, Keller said, is the irrational kind. Once you can see it clearly, you can see it for what it is.

“Once I could identify it, I was able to overcome those things,” Ravi says.

He started preparing to have the hard conversations seniors and their families need someone to walk them through. He’s been educating himself on estate planning and right-sizing — making a complicated, emotional process a little easier. He’s a member of Rotary International. He shows up.

And the people he works with, he says, give him as much as he gives them.

“I learn a lot,” he says. “It requires a level of patience, because they want to share everything — all of their experiences. I love it.”

His coach, Robin Lemon, helped him build the accountability structure that made all of it real.

“It provided a level of accountability so that if I didn’t achieve that goal that week, I would have to work at a higher level the next week,” he says. “That’s a lifelong lesson.”

He took what he learned in coaching — the SMART goals, the 411, the discipline of tracking — and applied it not just to his business but to how he approaches his life.

Ravi then received a Fund My Mission Scholarship, which he used to attend the Keller Williams Family Reunion conference in Atlanta — over 13,000 people, breakout sessions, panels, organizations within the company, and connections from across the country and around the world.

He came home with relationships he’s still building on.

“I had the opportunity to meet people from all over the country, all over the world,” he says. “Share some of their tips, their tools, and what’s working for them. And then also just share cultures, experiences, and build friendships.”

Ravi came back to QL Summit this year — this time as a group leader. He has taken Quantum Leap twice, gone through coaching, received a scholarship, and is still in the early years of his career. He’s 27.

He thinks about what he’s building not just in terms of his business, but in terms of what it means for the people around him — his clients, his community, the generations that came before him and the ones that will come after.

“If we take care of the next generation,” he says, “then they will take care of you too.”

He’s doing both.

Ravi was supported through KW Next Gen’s Quantum Leap program, Quantum Leap Coaching, and a donor-funded Fund My Mission Scholarship. To read more stories of impact, visit kwnextgen.org.
