Designing a Big Life: Devany Williams’ KW Next Gen Journey
At 29 years old, Devany Williams is a Realtor with Keller Williams Realty, leading a small team in the San Francisco Bay Area. But her journey into leadership, impact, and intentional living didn’t begin with a title.
It began in a classroom.
Falling in Love with Quantum Leap
Devany first got involved with KW Next Gen after taking a local Quantum Leap class for young adults. She immediately fell in love with the curriculum.
What stood out most wasn’t just the content—it was the invitation to think differently. To think bigger.
She often shares that the lesson that truly opened her eyes was learning how to intentionally design a really big life. Through Quantum Leap, she discovered that each individual has the ability to design life the way they see fit. That idea didn’t just inspire her—it shifted her trajectory.
Stepping Into Leadership
As she grew within the KW Next Gen community, Devany stepped into bigger opportunities in her business and leadership.
She became a solo agent and was hired into leadership within Keller Williams, serving as an assistant team leader for three different offices in the East Bay area. She also served as President of her local KWYP chapter, pouring into other young professionals while continuing to build her own real estate team.
At the same time, her personal life was growing too—she got engaged and married during her involvement with KW Next Gen and is now nearly two years into marriage.
Through it all, one thing remained consistent: the people.
The Power of the Right People in the Room
When Devany reflects on her favorite part of KW Next Gen, she doesn’t hesitate.
It’s the people she was surrounded by.
Her first Quantum Leap instructor was Nikki Miller, who later became part of Devany’s world in a different way—supporting her team with administrative and operations needs.
Through a Fund My Mission Scholarship, made possible by donor Tony Brodie, Devany was able to attend the QL Summit with Gary Keller—an experience that deepened her belief in building a life by design.
She also began working with Coach Chris LaGarde, who has been by her side since she received her scholarship. Chris took her on as a coaching client and continued to pour into her—even providing coaching before she was able to afford his full fees.
That kind of belief changes a person.
And it changed Devany.
A Life Redirected
Devany is also quick to express her gratitude to the donors who make these programs possible:
“Because of you doing what you do, I can say just personally that my life trajectory has really, really gone in a different direction—a very positive direction for sure. I’m so extremely grateful. And I know that I’m not the only case. There are lots and lots of young adults who have felt the love that you help pour into this program. Because of you, I really do think that the world is in a better place.”
Her story is proof of what happens when a young adult gets in the room, learns to design a big life, and stays close to the right people.
And she’s just getting started.
