one ticket, one big shift
Maya Hermelin is already doing what many only dream of: building a future of freedom through real estate, investing in herself and others, and leading by example. Based in Cleveland, OH, Maya serves as the Director of Lead Generation on the Ed Huck Team, is a licensed real estate agent, and an ambitious investor carving her path toward generational wealth.
But her journey to clarity, confidence, and impact didn’t happen overnight. It began with a single step: attending Quantum Leap through KW Next Gen.
What would ultimately prove a busy and productive 2020 kicked off for Maya when her team gifted her a virtual ticket to Quantum Leap with Gary Keller — and that first experience lit a fire. She soaked in the material and began applying the models and systems to her daily life, identifying bite-sized goals to keep her momentum moving forward.
Since her first QL Summit, Maya has attended four QL events, received professional coaching, and received a $10,000 Fund My Mission scholarship.
coaching, clarity, confidence
Before Quantum Leap, Maya struggled with something many young professionals face: measuring success in a way that actually felt meaningful.
“I was accomplishing goals,” she reflects, “but I constantly felt behind. It always felt like a cat-and-mouse game.”
Quantum Leap helped her pause, reassess, and implement a structured way to track her goals year after year. “That changed everything. I could finally see how much I was growing.”
Maya credits her QL Coach, Jesse Coleman, with helping her break down big, stretch goals into actionable steps.
“Sometimes when you’re going after something big, it can feel overwhelming. Jesse helped me lay it all out — what am I actually doing, and how do I get it done? There were goals that stretched me—and having someone help break them down step by step made them actually achievable.”
From implementing daily structure to embracing rest and play, Maya began integrating every area of life — not just work.
A Scholarship That Sparked Acceleration
Maya’s ambitions grew even more with the help of the Fund My Mission Scholarship. She received both portions—one for a yearlong mentorship with a real estate investor specializing in medium-term rentals, and the other for a women’s real estate investor mastermind.
Both experiences expanded her network and deepened her expertise. “The mentorship helped me take a huge next step in my investing journey, and the mastermind gave me a tribe I still talk to weekly.”
Today, she’s teaching GPS goal-setting to that same group—and bringing Quantum Leap principles to a new circle of leaders.
“I still meet with people from both experiences regularly. These aren’t one-time wins — they’re relationships and lessons that continue to shape my life and business.”
why quantum leap matters
When asked how she would describe Quantum Leap to a friend, Maya doesn’t hesitate:
“It’s both a personal and professional development program rolled into one. You walk away understanding your goals—and how to break them into bite-sized pieces. But more than that, you’re surrounded by growth-minded people, and that kind of environment is rare, especially for young professionals.”
Maya knows firsthand that the people you surround yourself with matter. “Before, I didn’t always believe in myself—because I didn’t even know what I wanted. But KW Next Gen helped me figure it out. It taught me how to think bigger, believe bigger, and become someone I’m proud of.”
Her advice to her fellow young adults?
“Quantum Leap helps you see your whole life clearly — not just career goals. It’s like personal and professional development smashed into one transformational weekend. Every young adult deserves access to this.”
